Most people say Summer starts on Memorial day, but for me it has always started on July 4th. Ever since I was kid I remember having huge Barbecues with our friends and entire family. Then after a day of eating the sun would set and we'd finally get to have sparklers, light snakes (not real ones) and punks! Today the fourth is still the same for me. Focus is on the food we'll serve, the memories we can make and of course the fireworks!
When entertaining I like to try to set stations; drink station, food station, desert station, and a kid's fun area. Add some fun to each station, it could be serving pieces from Mud Pie that have fun phrases on each, or a great condiment, sauce from Stonewall Kitchen. Set the kids area with bubbles and small things to do from our selection of crazy toys in our Toy Bins.
